"I had the privilege of leading R&D at Volkswagen, during the time when the company became the world’s largest car manufacturer.
Modularization was an essential part of the success, paving the way for profitable growth through an increased market offering and significantly reduced costs.
Having witnessed this paradigm shift and its positive effects, I am convinced that modularization is necessary for any company’s success going forward."
Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg
Former Head of R&D and Board Member of Volkswagen
